FurnishedTX (Golden Lion Trading LLC) partners with public housing authorities, VA programs, and nonprofit housing coordinators to place clients in fully furnished units in East Austin and San Antonio. We accept Housing Choice Vouchers, HUD-VASH, TBRA, and HHSC Bridge Program placements, and we work directly with your agency on paperwork, inspections, and move-in timing.

VA Supportive Housing vouchers through the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA). Landlord-outreach and tenant-liaison relationship in place; units go through NSPIRE inspection before placement.

Tenant-Based Rental Assistance through The Center for Health Care Services (CHCS) Supported Housing program — rent paid directly by the program, utilities included.

Signed landlord partnership with Housing Connector, a nonprofit that reduces screening barriers to housing across our full portfolio, not just one property.
How we screen

Built for hard-to-place referrals.

Standard STR/LTR screening criteria exclude a lot of the people case managers are trying to house. Ours is intentionally different, in line with our Housing Connector commitments:

✓ No credit-history requirement
We don't screen on credit history or score.
✓ Flexible rental history
Up to 2 evictions in 3 years and past housing debt under $3,000 are not automatic disqualifiers.
✓ Criminal history reviewed case-by-case
Our only hard exclusion is registered sex offender status. Other criminal history is evaluated individually, not used as a blanket bar.
✓ All rental-assistance income accepted
HUD vouchers, VA benefits, USDA Rural Housing, emergency rental assistance and similar subsidies count as qualifying income.
